About This Year’s Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights
Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights is a holiday tradition for many Richmond families. It features more than a half-million lights, hand-crafted botanical decorations, model trains, holiday dinners, firepit with s’mores and hot chocolate, family activities and more. It will run nightly 5 – 10 p.m. from Nov. 24, 2017 through January 8, 2018 (closed Dec. 24 & 25). The theme for this year is Naturally Ever After: Stories in Lights.

Everybody loves a good story. Now imagine myriad stories, plus legends and rhymes, embellished with amazing creativity through a half-million holiday lights! During this year’s Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights, Naturally Ever After presents Stories in Lights: from fairy tales and folklore to time-treasured classics. Indoor and outdoor displays, family activities and holiday events spotlight tales that span cultures and time … explore natural phenomena … teach life lessons … celebrate the seasons … and ultimately, connect people through plants.
